Comment: I think this is my first general commentary. I'll keep this short, though much much more could be written. Ukraine is on like Donkey Kong so to speak. There are two completely different narratives at play.
1. Did Russia invade Ukraine (West), or did Russia send in Peacekeeping forces (Russia) as requested by the people of Donetsk and Luhansk.
2. Sanctions will hurt Russia (West) or sanctions will hurt Europe (Russia). Case in point, Germany canceling the Nordstream 2 pipeline today (if in conjunction with Russia shutting off older forms of transport) only deprives Europe of natural gas and shuts down the European economy. Russia really is not harmed. Russia has been preparing for sanctions for a long time, probably close to a decade or more. With only 7% natural gas in reserves, it would appear Europe has not prepared at all.
3. Suggestion. View this story from both sides, and from a historical perspective. Read the regular USA papers, etc, but also read say the Moscow Times, the Hal Turner Radio Show reports, etc. Hal's 02-22-22 report was very good. People need to view this from both sides. It would appear everything is at stake. Do not underestimate this current event.
